I'm about ready to do some work. On a Friday night. Maybe I should just knit. I'm watching Dirty Dancing and enjoying some Lobster Baby. I think he/she may be a Transformer. It feels like I have a confused shape shifting beast in my gut.

Patrick Swayze though. I do believe that I had a poster of him hanging in my room in my younger days. He liked horses like I did. Sooooo dreamy. And don't forget he was in North and South miniseries. And I'm only bringing THAT up again because I ran across a thread on the show at TWOP. It popped up shortly after my reminiscing from a few weeks ago. (oooooh, it's the dancing montage where Johnny teaches Baby while "Hungry Eyes" plays in the background. I used to listen to that song incessantly. I had the movie soundtrack on cassette tape. It had Patrick's song: "She's like the WInd"!! Not only is he kind to horses and can dance, he can sing TOO!) Yeah, so I looked through the discussion and discovered an Amazing Fact. The cute blonde who played Brett Main Hazard (the nice younger sis of Orry/Patrick Swayze who married Billy Hazard who was played by COugar from Top Gun AND Parker Stevenson) is married to Jonathan Frakes!!! Oh my god! Apparantly, she was also a soap star. She married some dude on that show and it was all big and what not. I think it might have been the storyline where she was raped and then married her rapist. Infamous. But she's Mrs. Commander Riker!!! I bet she's even met Jean-Luc Picard. Now, that's dreamy.

Anyway, she was a hottie in North and South. So was her sister Ashton-the Southern Skank- who was great to hate. I can still hear her simpering whiny pout of "Oh Billy!" See, she messed with Billy who was totally in love with her but eventually tired of her shenanigans (to be fair, she did screw a whole group of West Point cadets) and decided to go for Virginal Brett. This angered Ashton and she never forgave either one. Tsk Tsk.

Is it wrong that I'm eating nerds from my bra? (I'm still having trouble getting food to my mouth.)
